Capes are awesome, but in The Incredibles, Edna wouldn't make Mr Incredible a costume with a cape because they contributed to the demise of some other superheroes :)
Well, my awesomeness would overcome any potential cape issues. Besides, it would be removable so if I should find myself in any such situation, off it comes and off I go! :-P
