Layout Help

So, I are an idiot when it comes to doing complicated things with my LJ. And I wanted to put some of those animation things in my sidebar like lots of people have. So, I went to the sidebar customization area where I thought it was all supposed to go and tried to put some in, but nothing happened. :-( Can anyone help?

What animation things are you talking about? I'm not sure I've seen them. Where exactly are you thinking to put them? I was thrilled to figure out how to get my tag list multi-level. But I had help. There's lots of communities for layout customization, some specific to a particular style.

They're just little scene animations from shows. Like icons, but usually a bit bigger. kj_svala has what I'm talking about.
