Friday the 13th

So, yeah. This movie scared the crap out of me. On numerous occasions. This movie will only be viewed at matinée times. :-D

Overall - I liked it! I've never seen any of the other Friday the 13ths, so I don't really have anything to compare it to, but meh. Whatever. Not too much in terms of actual plot, but I wasn't really expecting there to be. The action was really good, though. Nothing seemed too outrageous or cheesy like it could have. I think I gotta go with Jared on this and say that the coolest kill was the cop with the poker or whatever through the eye.

Speaking of Jared... How gorgeous was he? *sigh* He looked amazing. And he really needs to keep those jeans. They're very nice. :-)

Comparing it to MBV, I'd almost put MBV more in to the thriller category and this is definitely a horror flick. I also think MBV had a slightly more sophisticated plot/storyline. But still, both were quite excellent and I'm very, very happy for both the boys.

Up next - Papa Winchester in Wathcmen!! :-D

Jared's jeans are WIN. 'Nuff said.

I agree as far as contrasting it to MBV goes. MBV did have more of that thriller quality to it, definitely more of a psychological aspect.

And seeing Papa Winchester in the Watchmen will complete the trilogy! :)
