Um, he kicks ass? Literally. And is awesome at it. No, uh, I just think he's really cool and awesome doing everything he does - acting, singing, etc and not being put off or being afraid of doing whatever he wants. And he got me to listen to country music when I swore I would rather eat my own foot first before listening to that crap. :-D

Leverage
Best new show this year. Period. It's just awesome on so many levels. The cast is amazing and their characters are so awesome. And I love the premise of it. The "bad" guys becoming good guys and taking back what belongs to other people. That whole Robin Hood thing has always been appealing to me. Plus, I really like that there's not some huge overarching mythology to the show. It just is what it is and is awesome at that. Each week they just do what they do. And I love them for it!

I love this city. I may be a suburban girl, but I love to go visit. The museums, the shopping, the theater, the music. It's all here. What more do you need?

Conventions
Never thought I'd be one of those crazy convention folks, but I am! I went to my first one in 2004 and I just had the best time ever. I met so many amazing people (fans, not just the actors), some of whom have become some of my very best friends. It's such an amazing time that I think everyone should go to one con in their life, if they can.

Vidding
I first discovered fanvids through Stargate. I remember one of the first ones I ever saw was "Stay With Me" by brihana25 and I was so amazed by what she was able to do and what this medium could do with story telling. Then I heard this song by Rob Thomas "When the Heartache Ends" and the visuals would not leave me alone. It wasn't the first vid I made by a long shot. I went through a bunch for Queer as Folk and other for Stargate (including "Ever the Same" I made with wraith816). And now, it won't leave me alone. I have so many floating around in my head right now, it's completely insane. I doubt I will ever make them all. And I'm sort of getting frustrated right now with the process a bit because my programs don't want to cooperate and I can't really find a suitable replacement at this point. *sigh* So, yeah.

Last week wasn't really much of a cliffhanger. It was "To Be Continued" but more in the sense that the story they were telling wasn't quite over yet, not "OMG! There was a huge explosion! Who survived?" kind of thing.

Good to know, I will watch it tonight then. I was worried it was going to be something like that. (Criminal Minds did that last season they were all shown getting into different suvs and then one blew up and the episode ended.)
