That was the motto last night. And let me tell you, it was soooooooooooo much fun. I highly recommend that if you can, everyone take a burlesque dance lesson. It was a blast. The girl who planned the party had actually gone to school with the girl who was teaching the lesson so that was pretty cool. She taught us some basic moves and then a little routine using a boa. That was fun. I think I'm gonna have to try that out on hubby later.... ;-)

Oh! And she was on America's Got Talent. I've put the vids from youtube behind the cut if you want to see. She's very good.

Here are the pictures I took. I didn't take too many cos I was too busy having fun! But I was promised other pictures by e-mail (including ones from the dance lesson). So I'll share those when I get them.

And that's it! I only had three drinks, actually. No one was too wasted, which was good. I think we sweated most of the alcohol off with all the dancing. :-D

The clips were hysterical. Did you ever see the film, "The Lady of Burlesque", from the book "The G-String Murders", by Gypsy Rose Lee? The movie was very entertaining and funny and gave me an appreciation for Burlesque.

I'd like to go to one of her classes. It would be a hoot. It would make a great pre-wedding party for a friend of mine.

I have not seen that movie. May have to look into it.

Her place is called Studio L'Amour if you want to look her up. It was definitely a really fun thing to do.
