Perfect Strangers FTW! LOL I'm glad somebody got that.

Ya know, as much as I miss season 1 Sam and wish we could have him back, I'm kind of glad we don't. Not that I particularly "like" this Sam, but it just shows how three dimensional and "real" these guys are. There's major character development going on right now. And yeah, it kinda sucks and is really scary, but he shouldn't be the same Sam from season 1. He's gone through too much to be that person anymore.

I agree, there's no way Sam could go back to the guy he was in season 1. Way too much has happened since then and I love how we can see how real and three dimensional they are.

I guess what's bothering me most about it is the rift between him and Dean. I've been hoping that once he hits rock bottom and this whole Sam vs. Dean showdown (that they seem to be setting us up for) goes down, he'll eventually come back and they'll be fighting together. Doesn't look like there's much chance of that happening, but I still wish it to be so. And if it doesn't, maybe I'll fix it with fanfic.

I think eventually they'll find their way back together. It'll take some time, but I really do think (hope) they'll get there.
