Completely Irrational Pet Peeve Time!

When people just hit PAUSE on the microwave. And then don't hit STOP/CLEAR when they're done. So then I go to put my food in and hit the Quick Minute button and nothing happens. CLEAR THE MICROWAVE WHEN YOU'RE DONE!

OR when someone doesn't clear the copy machine after they finish. You go to make a copy and end up with 50!

I've learned to just automatically hit clear whenever I approach a copy machine. Happened too many times.

My dad does that ALL THE TIME.

He also has a thing against the number lock on keyboards, so whenever I have to use his computer and the number pad, I'm like WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING OH WAIT NUMLOCK IS OFF AGAIN ARGH.

I tend to wonder if it's a male thing with the numbers lock. My Dad does it too and also my brother-in-law. My sister and I tend to have mutual moans about them.

This one IT guy I work with will come over to look at a problem I'm having and will just grab my mouse and start clicking on things. And he's kinda greasy or something and it makes my palm itch to have to touch that after him. *shudders*

LOL. Well, not all microwaves have a pause button, I think. But most of them, it's the same as the start button. The ones here and at home are, anyway.

If we're talking microwaves, it's when people touch the keypads with some sort of food or other substance on their hands. Ew. I stuck a post-it note on my microwave the other day and said, "Wash your hands before touching" or something like that. You'd think I lived with five-year-olds. *g*
