Mostly! LOL Paint is up in all the main living areas, the second bedroom and second bath. Only thing left is the half bath and the master bedroom/bathroom. I'm so happy. It all looks so good. Once all the furniture is back in place and all the touch ups are done I'll share some pictures. It's so nice not having white walls, anymore. Well, except the "office." That's my husband's room and he likes white walls. So I let him keep that one. ;-) Hehe.

I have painting envy :p
What colours did you choose? My walls through the WHOLE house (to be fair it's a very small house :p ) are all the same light yellowish gold. Very warm and welcoming, but the paint job was mostly crap and I'd like something a little more modern. What did you choose? I'd love to hear about it!

We have a very open floor plan, too. The main color is a light gray. It's called Polaris from Ralph Lauren paints. (The website is here (http://www.ralphlaurenhome.com/rlhome/products/paint/default.asp).)

But in the main downstairs living area there are four colors, really. That gray, a slightly darker gray in the dining room and as an accent wall where we have sliding doors - Sweatshirt Gray, also from RL. The kitchen is navy (Harbour, also RL). Then the entry area that covers 2 floors is a very pale blue (Heavenly Blue by Valspar, I think). So, there's a lot of colors, but I think it all works together. And the furniture works well with it all. It's a dark gray/blue color. So, yeah.

The second bedroom is Bicycle Yellow by Behr. We're making that a "Hawaii" room. I got this calendar when were there last year that had these vintage postcard style pictures on it. I'm going to get some of those framed to hang up. And the second bath is another light blue. But darker than the entry blue.

Our bedroom is sort of long and narrow, so I'm going with two shades of a grayish lavender. Dark on the short walls and lighter on the long ones. Then our bath is going to be this dark tan.

All the trim & doors are white with cherry cabinets.

I can't wait to see everything all done and put back together. And to hang up pictures! It's going to look great!! :-D

Butting in: This sounds so lovely! I love your idea of the Hawaii room. :-) Our dining room is the Alaska room. :-)

Anyway, it sounds like you've done a great job.

hehe I hate white walls! I think it's because military housing is *always* white. They just come in with spray guns and spray everything--cupboards, woodwork, walls, ceiling... Most of the last 30 years we spent living in either military housing or renting--all white walls. When we bought our house, we painted the living room and half the dining room red. And we still love it six years later. :-)

Enjoy your not!white walls. :-) I can't wait to see pictures. I *love* seeing pictures of other people's homes. It's just so cool to sort of put someone in a setting.

Oh, yeah. That would be sucky. I've had white walls for 7 years now or so, counting our last apartment. I'm very glad to see them gone. :-)
