I think I way over-spoiled myself at the end of season 4, and as such, perhaps did not quite enjoy the end of the Supernatural season as much as I could have since I knew what was coming. So, I think I'm going to try and be more spoiler free for season 5. Not completely, because, well, that's pretty much impossible. So, why am I saying this? Because they've just announced that season 5 starts filming July 2. Which means the spoilers will be flying! Please don't throw them at me.

Thanks!

Yeah we can be spoiler free together!! I have done my very best to avoid any season 4 spoilers, since you'all have already seen all the eps. Been doing a pretty good job so far, trying to continue the trend. It's hard when you have a hankering for SPN vids and they all have spoilers for season four. *HEAD DESK*

Check out The Impala (http://the-impala.co.uk/). It's the Kawoosh! for SPN.

I try and I try and I try and I try... and I keep reverting to my spoiler-whorish ways.

I'll probably try again. And I'll probably fail. Because I'm a spoiler-whore.

I wonder if there's a twelve step for that...

After being spoiled for way too much during Season 3, I vowed to go spoiler free for Season 4 - and I'm so glad I did.

During Season 4, I got spoiled on a couple of very minor things - a few episode titles, but that's about it. So, it IS possible - but you have to be vigilant.

I made a separate friends group for those people and comms on my flist who just can't not post spoilers (some try and fail, others don't even try).

And I joined [livejournal.com profile] spnfencentral which posts SPOILER-FREE news daily. So, I felt like I was still informed, but was also spoiler free. They post non-spoiler stuff (like here's pics of Jared on the red carpet for Friday The 13th and these are the folks who got nominated for emmies, etc). They warn you about places where spoilers are lurking not behind cuts. They despoil interviews - then, later, they post the link to the full interview again, once the info is no longery spoilery. So, really, you don't miss out on anything.

for me, Season 3 was a let down, because the spoilers spoiled the surprise and killed the suspense. And the SPN writers are really good at what they do - and I found when I let them do their jobs (by remaining spoiler free) I enjoyed the show so very much more!

Oh, and maybe you want to read this article by JJ Abrams about spoilers and why he, as a creator of entertainment, things they are not really good things. http://tinyurl.com/d9npj4

Good luck to you - I will enable your spoiler-free-ness whenever I can!

Oh, yes. I'm a member of [livejournal.com profile] spnfencentral already. They're pretty awesome over there.

I don't consider episode titles spoilers. And I'll still watch the previews for next week's episode. That kind of stuff I don't consider the really spoilery stuff I want to avoid.
