Rob Thomas is the lead singer of Matchbox Twenty. I have previously vidded his songs Ever The Same (Jack/Daniel) and How Far We've Come (general Stargate). His songs are really good for vidding. :-D

Rob Thomas is awesome! Fabulous singing voice...but he really should just sing everything...not speak. I'm serious...his own wife told him not to speak once and to go set up and she'd handle the talking.

The morning DJs on the radio station are friendly with him and when they do their charity show every year, he comes and sings for them...which I think is pretty awesome. He always keeps his schedule clear for that show.

Sorry about the new vid idea...did you ever get what you needed for the other one?

I actually won passes from one of our local radio stations for the exclusive acoustic show he was doing on the morning show program. It was sooooooooooo good! You can read about it here (http://switch842.livejournal.com/416569.html) if you want. There's also some pictures. We were so close!!!

Hahaha. Well I suspect that he was a bit sleep deprived that morning (it is a 5am show) and also that they were all harassing him...but he did sound really bad.

Ooo I shall mark and look. Every time my station does a giveaway--it's not a concert I want. So yeah I haven't gotten to see anything. They do storyteller concerts--just hasn't been a band I actually want to see.
