OMG. The stories we got. THE STORIES. And this was just Day One.

Jack has a daughter. And a grandson. I mean, I guess I knew intellectually that the possibility was always out there. But to have it CONFIRMED is just... WOW.

Meeting Ianto's sister and family was interesting. And him getting the Torch-Mobile stolen? Bwa ha ha! That was priceless.

Gwen's preggers!!! That should be interesting.

OK, so. Back to the beginning. As soon as all the kids started chanting I got shivers. All up and down my body. Anything weird with children is just like 100 times creepier than if it involved adults.

I liked all the little bits between Jack & Ianto. Are we a couple? What are we? Ianto "coming out" to his sister. "It's just him." Awwwwwwwww. ((HUGGLES IANTO AND JACK))

THE BLANK PAGE. WTF is going on with all that?? So, Jack obviously had something to do with what happened in 1965 in Scotland.

Speaking of - JACK FUCKING BLEW UP!!!

While we're on the subject of people dying, I'm rather sad they killed the doctor guy. Even if he was a spy/traitor/bad guy. I liked him. We could have turned him.

Um, I think that's all. There may be more coherent thoughts later.

ITA! I loved this ep to pieces. So much fleshing out of the characters lives. brilliant. And I agree w/you about Rupesh too bad he was evil and now dead.

Maybe the pretty black lady will be the new Tosh? who knows.

And Jack having a daughter AND a grandson. Wild. I wonder if we'll get to learn her mother's name..if only for fic fodder

And while Ianto's family is a bit crude I don't think they give a damn that he's with Jack. Good on them. Still it was obvious that ianto was extremely uncomfortable.

I think Ianto was mostly uncomfortable because he doesn't even really know what he has going on with Jack. Which is sad. I'm pretty sure Ianto is in love with Jack. And Jack would like to be in love with Ianto back, but can't for some fairly obvious reasons. Does that make sense?

Yeah. We tried to pin John Barrowman down at Torchsong about whether or not Jack was in love with Ianto. He wouldn't answer he just said that the fans will be "very happy" with season 3 whatever that means.

I loved the episode and want more like now!! I had heard the spoilers about his daughter so it wasn't a big surprise and also heard about the hub exploding so when they cut him open it hit me what they were doing and I was like nooooo poor Jack.

I loved the couple thing like Ianto didn't want to admit that's what they were or wanted Jack to admit it first. I did like Iantos sister outing him even though her husband was a bit on the ass side.

I was a little bummed about Rupesh as he was hot and would have made a good medic.

And poor Ianto and the car, he kept trying to tell them. Now he has to tell them again, first time Gwen was fixated on the kids, second time Jack was about to blow. Poor guy.

There were some good quotes/lines in it.

Quick question I am assuming you have heard the plays already. Was there anything that I missed from not having heard them first? I intend to wait until our trip to comic con to listen to them.

So I just finished watching the first episode (it downloaded while I was sleeping last night and I had to wait till after work to finish the ep).

OMG OMG OMG! That kiss at the end between Jack and Ianto, I was SO squeeling, you could probably hear me in the next county. The whole bit of fleshing out their families was fascinating and I completely agree about Ianto being madly in love with Jack but Jack is unable to reciprocate. *sigh* Where did you download your ep from? I had to wait till way to late to find a viable link. I want it ASAP after the episode airs....
