But I may be contemplating putting the current vid I'm working on on hold and trying to see if I can crank out the new Rob Thomas idea that's floating around. Because it is EATING AT MY BRAIN and will not leave me alone. I think it might even be a combo SG-1/SGA thing. Could be cool, right?

I've got a question, and I hope you can help me, since you're the only person on my flist who likes Rob Thomas/Matchbox 20.

I'm trying to get lyrics for "Bright Lights" and they seem to vary slightly from site to site, and I don't see a lyrics section on the Matchbox 20 official site (though I suppose it could be in the fans-only section?). Do you know what the official lyrics are?

Then they're the things that you miss

I've seen both "leave" and "need" and they both make sense, though I like "need" better. Doot doot doot, I might stick with that. *whistles*

I'm writing a Pine/Quinto pseudo-AU, and that song just PINGED when I heard it on shuffle yesterday, so I want to quote that section as my epigraph. Or something.

Thank you! No, it makes sense. I kinda know there aren't enough consonants, but "then they're the things" makes more sense in my head than "and then the things", so I just mentally sub it in, ha.

Hopefully the damn thing gets written.
