I know! I hate that they don't do that anymore. :-P
None of the cast are on the commentaries actually. I guess they had started filming season 2 when they were doing the DVD stuff back in LA. So, they couldn't get the cast. It's just the producers and writers. But it's been quite entertaining so far! :-)
That really sux that they don't mail them that way anymore! Although I guess I knew that...I don't order a whole lot through them anymore...I used to work for Borders so I get a lot of stuff from them still (plus Borders is literally like 8 minutes from my house) and the few CDs I do buy...I get from the actual bands...cuz for the most part I only buy CDs from the bands I know now.
That's a bummer that they don't have any of the cast! I know I laugh hysterically listening to the ones from SGA (especially the one where David Hewlett tells Joe Flanigan to either sit down or he's gonna sit on him. Or the one where Joe randomly wanders into the middle of the commentary and is like "What'cha guys doing?" and they're trying to explain it and Joe's like "Really? A commentary? What's that?" I swear he's doing it just to mess with their heads.)
So far commentaries and some missing scenes. There's also some Behind the Scene featurette things. Sadly, no bloopers. :-( I like bloopers. We need to get them to have them on season 2!!
LOL if you watch Serenity...watch that commentary. Even though it's only Joss...he's pretty funny. And he tells a LOT of behind the scenes stuff...including like how he almost pitched the script at Nathan one day.
