Daniel is sleeping/unconscious. When he wakes up there's someone right in his face and he does the startled "Gah!" thing. Ring any bells?

If it's the one I am thinking of it's a later season episode, the one where Daniel finally goes to Atlantis. Pegasus? Mitchell wakes him up with the straw. Is that the one you are thinking of?

Hmm. I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he's lying in an infirmary bed, actually, now that I think about it more. That one could work though. I'll have to check it out. I just need a clip of someone being startled awake. And that seems to be Daniel most of the time! LOL

The only one I can think of and associate it with an episode is the scene in Chimera when he wakes up to see Sarah/Osiris standing over him. But it does seem like he wakes up that way often.

Oh, wait, what about season 9, The Ties That Bind. He woke up in the infirmary with Cameron and Lam staring over him.

What about in "The Light"? When he falls asleep with the book? And like falls off the platform?

Also I think there's one in one of the episodes where they are stuck on a cargo ship...um second/third season cliff-hanger? I can't remember for sure though and my discs are all in Jersey.

I know what you mean. That's not The Light, though. I think it's Fail Safe. When all the techs are running around fixing the cargo ship and he's just snoozing on the MALP. That's pretty funny. :-)

No he does it twice. I just got them confused. I think the book one is "The Light" and "Fail Safe" he falls off. Anyway...maybe one of those. My fave is Cam waking him up...it's too cute. Or the book one cuz his glasses are all crooked. I'm sure there are others though.

*tsk* Dude...that's from Avalon Pt2 when Daniel wakes up in the infirmary to find Mitchell looking right at him. He goes 'GAH!' and Mitchell and Lam are both there. :)
