How's this for car repair service?

This is not a bad story or anything like that. Just, well, amusing. :-)
So, back at the beginning of the summer I discovered the air conditioning in my car was not working. Yay, woohoo, that's a lot of money out the door we don't really have to spare. About a month ago, I finally make an appointment to have my car taken in and looked at. My husband has a day off so he's the one that takes it. Turns out to not be a simple recharge, but the entire air system (cool & heat) was broken. They had to replace the whole thing. So, they did and all is well. Well, almost. The fan no longer works on the level 1 setting. It had worked before. I finally get around to calling last week and make an appointment for my husband to take it in on this past Friday when he has another day off. They do some poking around and can't immediately see what's wrong with it. They do eventually figure it out but they part they need to make the repair is not one that they have in stock. They have to order it and take my car back in sometime next week. Eh, OK. No biggie.
Friday night, I'm going to the movies and it's raining so I turn the air on since it is also warm out. To the level 1 fan. And it works. But they couldn't fix it? Apparently they did. *shrug* So now I have to call back and tell them that they fixed the problem they thought they couldn't. And it's been working fine since then. So, I don't know. It just struck me as funny. :-)
