This is what I meant to post last time before becoming distracted by the Jared pics... ;-)

Anyway, I finally got around to watching Fast & Furious. I had liked the first one a lot. Only seen bits & pieces of two and three while flipping through channels, wasn't too impressed by those. But the draw of the original cast returning was too strong for me to resist. And I gotta say, I was not disappointed.

I mean, it's not gonna win any Oscars or anything. But for what it is, it was a really good movie. I thought the storyline worked well. It was structured well and cohesively. Lots of pretty awesome car chases. The tunnel sequences were really cool. Nice, fast cars to ogle over, too. :-D

I was happy to see Dom alive at the end as I was expecting him to be dead. And them coming to rescue him from the prison bus? NICE! I'll admit. I cheered a bit. :-)

Oh, and, um, the flirting? Ten times worse than the first time around. LOL Seriously, after getting Dom off the bus those two boys were going to head down to Mexico, open up a car shop and just have it at, right? LOL

So this is what I heard from my friend who LOVES the movies (well not 2 but yeah). The watching order should be 1, 4, 3. If you haven't seen 3 really then I can't spoil the end for you.

Well, I'm probably not going to see 3, so if you want to spoil it go ahead. :-)

I just posted about watching this movie for the first time too. I watched it 3 times. It was like all the bad stuff between Dom and Brian never happened in the first movie. Also a big plus for me Don Omar is in the movie (for only like 2 minutes total) and I've become a huge fan of his music.

You needn't have phrased that in the form of a question, because clearly that is exactly what happens.

desertport: Kaneda on his bike (brian/dom)

That movie rocked! It was the perfect coda to the first one, just as deliciously slashy. Seriously, I was so blissed out watching it in the theater. The part where Dom looks down and sees Brian on the ground, and eases him back up and says 'you're okay' I about died. Perfect.

Oh, yeah. Really 2 & 3 don't need to exist, ya know. 1 & 4 are plenty. :-)
