At the Burbank Con last year (2008) someone asked that question that gets asked of all guests when Kavan Smith was on stage to share any funny behind the scenes stories of each of his co-stars. So, he shares this story about Joe. Apparently, Joe has his own personal hair stylist. And part of his job is to follow Joe around on set with a mirror so Joe can primp between takes. Kavan decides to re-enact this. He turns his back to the audience to "prepare" then turns back around with this Zoolander Blue Steel look. Like, lips pursed all that. And start zoojing his hair. And finishes with a "Let's shoot this!" It really is something that needs to be seen to be understood. But it was HILARIOUS and became like an in-joke with all of us. And as soon as I got my haircut a couple weeks ago and realized I had Joe Flanigan hair, I realized I had to do this for the photo op. Then Rachel teased Paul on stage about his styling antics and he pretty much did the same thing. So, yeah. I didn't actually tell Joe the story. It might have helped, cos I don't think he quite understood what I was going for.
