I had heard they were doing a sitcom style show with full laugh track and all, I am actually looking forward to that one. Who am I kidding I am looking forward to all the ones they showed soon. I saw the CSI ref in the clip, but what was a ref to Greys?

I'm guessing the Grey's was when they were in lab coats and Sam got slapped. The lighting was way too bright for normal SPN lighting. I wonder if "Denny" will show up... LOL

Now I can't wait to actually SEE the rest of the episode...yeah I failed at staying awake last night and was down for the count by like 9:30...well minus my siblings and mother trooping through with the dogs...

My only real thought about the Paris stuff was, "Damn! That chick can't even act when she's supposed to be playing herself!"

I, too, got super excited that we were gonna get surprise!John, but really, I don't think Dean could handle being tortured by his father again, so all in all, it's a good thing he didn't show up.

And I'm a horrible television watcher; I didn't get any of the references to other shows except for that goofy Japanese game show and Knight Rider.

Oh, and the old guy they cast to play old!Dean? To me looks nothing like Dean. Whis googled him for me last night, and the first thing I saw were these bright blue eyes, like Shanks blue. I don't get it; seriously. This is supposed to be Dean in 25 years, right? Which would make Dean 55. This guy is 73! Why the hell didn't they just ask Jensen's dad to do it?

I thought Paris wasn't that bad, actually. Better then Gen, kind of even. Is that wrong?

As for old!Dean, well I'm completely unspoiled except for what the preview showed so I have no idea how old that Dean is supposed to be. Sure looks like it'll be an interesting episode, though.

Oh, the 25 years comes from the promo (because I don't know anything else about it either). He's talking to the guy, and they're gambling years, and Dean says, "Here's 25 years," and the guy says, "Are you sure?" and Dean says, "Yeah."

And then they burst into flame and Dean looks like he's gonna cry. (And yes, that makes me happy. I am a sick, sick woman.)

As for Paris... I think I'm just diametrically opposed to her entire existence. I'd rather they'd gotten Lohan to do that part, because at least she can act (occasionally, when she's trying).

I think (and have thought since I heard about it) casting Paris was a cheap publicity stunt, and though I did laugh at the House of Wax joke, giggled at her blasting her own sense of self-worth and celebrity, and appreciated Jared getting to behead her... I still think she's the reason the episode wasn't as strong as I think it could/should have been.

Ahhh. I didn't think two clips were related. Hmm.... Well, if they are and he's aged in an unnatural manner, that could account for the discrepancy in his appearance?

For the most part, I tend to just ignore Paris and whatever she's doing. Cos I really don't care about any of it. It may have been a cheap publicity stunt, but, ya know, it was publicity and Show seems to not really get much of it. So, at this point, I'll take what I can get.
