6 Degrees of Separation

We were talking about this a bit in the post-SPN chat last night. And this morning, on my way into work, I realized that I'm like 5 degrees away from Jensen. My cousin was the set designer/art director on Alias which was created/produced/directed/written by JJ Abrams. JJ directed the new Star Trek starring John Cho who was in Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay with Danneel Harris who is dating Jensen. :-D

Pretty sure that Nick Nolte is my 3rd cousin. I think his grandfather and my great-grandfather were brothers.

In college, I was friends with Hedy Burress (though I really can't stand to call her that). She was in a movie called Cabin by the Lake with Michael Weatherly. Mike was (of course) on Dark Angel with Jensen. :D

I'm trying to figure out if there a faster way to any of the SPN folks. They've had some pretty awesome guest stars. May have to go check cousins IMDB to double check for any other possibilities.

I had some of the same teachers as Ben Browder, thanks to the fact we went to the same high school (at different times, though).

So, that really helps my degrees of separation to Jensen, since every Canadian actor ever has played on either SG-1 or SGA. XD

My grandfather also used to be business partners with a guy who dated Rip Taylor, which is not related to Jensen but is my other 'interesting celebrity connection.' (My grandfather used to run/operate gay bars in the 60s...)

Several years ago a co-worker of mine, and part-time socializer, had attended a seminar where he sat next to Francis Ford Coppola. He says Coppola was annoying, though, since he wouldn't shut up.

In high school, my best friend's brother went to performing arts school with Carmen Electra.

Like is said last night, I'm 2 steps away from Jared. I was in the movie Private Valentine with Keiko Agena and she was in Gilmore Girls with Jared.

The one you nearly freaked out about last night: I was in the movie Queensized with Nicki Blonsky who was in Hairspray with Zac Effron. I could probably keep going from there and end up with SPN someway.

I've got a few. I'm related to the original Dr Who, William Hartnell, who was my paternal grandfather's cousin. I went to school with model Rachel Hunter and actor Craig Parker - in fact I am in touch with Craig still. Knowing him makes me 3 degrees of Kevin Bacon, and 2 degrees of everyone in LOTR, Seeker, (Xena and Hercules too, I think), and Underworld Rise of the Lycans, to name a few. About a year or so ago hubby played a round of golf with Karl Urban. I have a photo of that somewhere...
