I think I need to calibrate the monitor on my laptop. The brightness/contrast are just off and it's starting to get a little annoying. But I can't even find where that would be. Help?
Well, it depends on the type of laptop you have for exactly where the settings would be, but usually you can find a setting for it in the control panel. Start > Control or Start > Settings > Control Panel. What brand of laptop is it?
Well, I'm not sure about the contrast, but if it's a Dell you should be able to adjust the brightness by pressing FN and the Up and Down arrow keys. :)
I may have found something with my google-fu. Try this:
-Press the "F8" key which is located in the top row of keys on your Dell laptop. -Use the down arrow key while holding the "F8" key to adjust the contrast lower. This will darken your display. -Use the up arrow key while holding the "F8" key to adjust the contrast higher. This will lighten your display.
