That opening sequence was one of the funniest things ever. Seriously. I was laughing so hard it's a good thing my husband wasn't home.

The Trickster! Probably one of the best bad guys ever. Might even be my all time favorite.

So, Dean has a crush on Dr. Sexy? This totally makes Dean being bi canon, right? :-D

Nice to see Cas back.

Dean speaking Japanese? SEXY.

See, this is why I LOVE this show. One minute I'm laughing my ass off, the next we're talking Sam and Dean and their destiny and involvement in the apocalypse. And it just FLOWS. It's not contrived or silly or Whoa! Wait! These writers really know what they're doing.

But, dammit! TOO MANY DAMN COMMERCIALS!

OMFG! That...that was an amazing ep! I have to watch it again a few more times now (whatta chore!). And um...yeah...I think Dean's gay was showing a bit (way more than a bit) during the first half of the ep. Hee :) And he SO does too have a crush on Dr. Sexy. OMG, can't wait for the fic on this ep! :)

I'm picturing him appearing to Mary, and delivering happiness and joy, and then I'm seeing him as he is now, all broken and scared... and it's killing me.

Gabriel is supposed to spread the joy of God, and now he's not doing that, and he's just... gah! My heart is broken, I tell you.

Awww...now I'm sad too. Frell you. But you're right. When he was younger he got to announce the coming of the savior! Now he's too scared to even let anyone know who he is, playing tricks to keep himself 'entertained' and not lose it because he can't go home--or won't. Now I'm wondering if (hoping) he'll show up again, and maybe even do the right thing.

And just like that, Gabriel becomes one of my favorite characters on SHOW. After this, I put him right up there with Anna. Not as high as Bobby, Cas, and Sir... but pretty damn close.

Totally. Gabriel (which is really weird to say since that's going to be my son's name!!) is totally on the list. He was just AMAZING. I love when the show does this. Take something we thought we knew and then just twist it on its head.

And JDM's "not-cameo"? LOL When I saw the previews and that there was a Grey's ripoff, I was like "Please please please." But, yeah, no way that would happen. :-(

Also I was gone on the "pretty boy angel" thing.

Some people have said they thought the trickster = Gabriel thing was a (bad) retcon, but I think was cool, and answered some of my questions about how powerful he had seen in the past eps.
