There have been rumors about the engagements and pregnancies for awhile now. At first I thought maybe Daneel was pregnant, cuz Jensen seemed to be all 'deer headlights' when asked about marriage not that long ago :) and suddenly he's engaged. But now I'm thinking it's Gen because really, why the rush?
The logical thing IMO would be for Jared's wedding to be in the summer, when they can, you know, have time OFF and spend time together, not in the middle of filming SPN, ya know?
Oh and also? I think it's utterly adorable how both boys end up asking their girls to marry them right around the same time. Do ya think they sat down and discussed it with each other? Did a pros/cons list? LOL!
It does seem quite odd to be getting married in the middle of filming. I mean, aren't they usually done by March anyway? Why not just wait another month? It's all strange....
Rumor has it that they might stop filming for the olympics which supposedly is when the wedding will be. Rumor also has it that they'll be filming an ep where Jared isn't in it (although to be honest, I don't know that I believe that Jared will get married if Jensen can't make it because he's filming.)
Huh, I guess that would sort of fit then. Although I agree, I can't really see him getting married when Jensen is too busy filming to make it. I guess at this point it's all still speculation pretty much.

I remember someone else saying something about Alona, too. *shrug* I would like some sort of official confirmation from his people like we get with Jensen and Danneel. Not that it really matters, but it might chill some people out.
Yeah, that whole Alona thing was odd. Apparently at the con she confirmed it with some fans, but then later her rep came out and denied she did any such thing. Kinda makes you wonder what the heck THAT was all about?
That whole thing was weird. Cos Alona doesn't really seem like the kind of person that would just spill something like that that wasn't common knowledge.
I'd be willing to bet that Alona made an innocent comment about it, not realizing it wasn't actual public knowledge. Then when it got back to her rep, they were quick to deny it to save her (Alona's) reputation as somebody who doesn't spread gossip.
Or Alona made some generic comment about Jared/Gen (not referring to engagement of any kind) and the crazy fangirls went crazy. Either one totally works. LOL

At times SPN is a weird fandom. I don`t recall anything like this with Stargate, or Farscape. Private life is private. They talk about it, fine, they don`t, fine also.

I don't get it either. I mean, I will admit I'm not the biggest fan of Gen. But I will also admit that may be some of my hatred of Ruby spilling over onto her. But there's always been something about Gen that's bugged me. *shrug*
