Well, it's apparently not completely new. But they fixed the issues they were having with Verizon compatibility. You can find more info here (http://www.livejournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=274).

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I guess I just never knew about that function, heh. Looks like they don't have it in Canada anyway.
