I don't know if anyone else on my flist has posted, if so, apologies for posting again. But David Tennant won the NTA in England the other night (I'm guessing these are like their Emmy's?). Anyway, he got me all teary with his acceptance speech. I'm gonna miss him. *sniff*

I wouldn't really put them in the same vein as the Emmys....personally I prefer the slightly more "classy-ness" of the BAFTA's , which encompass both film and television awards [done on separate nights].....The NTA's are strictly held on commercial TV and sadly [imho] celebrate the constant stream of Soaps and Reality TV too much.......I mean, Ant and Dec again!...oy!...and Cowell and X-Factor v. Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing & Dancing on Ice....


I think it was pretty much on the cards that Tennant was going to win it....to be honest some [inc me] in the UK are a bit jaded with "Tennant overkill" now....I think it's a good time for him to leave and go on to pastures new.....
