"So, you were like an angel?" Dean asked.

"Not quite. I had a greater understanding of the universe, but I couldn't really interfere on any level," Daniel replied.

Dean just snorted and sipped his beer. "Sounds like an angel to me."

"What do you mean?"

"Oh, you know. The whole flying around, but not doing anything business."

"It was rather frustrating," Daniel said. "It's why I came back."

"Was it painful? Anna said it hurt a lot."

"I don't actually remember. I just woke up naked, um, somewhere."

"Naked?" Dean leered. "Must have been different."

"Cold, is what it was."
