Unused SPN Title Sequences

These are apparently an easter egg on the season 1 DVDs, but I've never seen them before. Ran across this on youtube while searching for something else. Thought I would share to spread some more love for EPISODE 100!!!!!!!!

I actually really like the first one. But, I do kinda like what the show does now. Especially with it changing each season to be sort of thematic for those episodes. What do y'all think?

Oh! I've never seen those! Hmm...I think I like what the show does now, although if I had to choose between the above two, I'd choose #1. It makes me wonder if those boys that are running are supposed to be a young Sam and Dean. Also? I like that the Impala seems to be a very important aspect of the titles.

I think the guys running are supposed to be Sam and Dean. That's how I saw it, anyway.

The Impala is the 3rd character on the show, you know. It best be in the opening. LOL

I agree with you that the first is the best of the two, but yeah. I love that they don't have a real "opening" and never have. The different effects for the different seasons are great. It gives us something else to look forward to every year.

Yeah. I remember talking with Cynthia before season 5 started about what the title card would be. I think one of us mentioned "Maybe blood?" And we were right!

I wonder what we'll get for season 6...

I like what they do...but at least these do seem to stick with the "theme" of the show.

I've seen other shows with unused titles and ya look at them and go wow glad they didn't cuz it had nothing to do with the show. Thanks for finding these and sharing!

I think if they had gone with either of these, it would definitely have worked. They're kind of haunting and a little creepy without being super scary. Kinda like the show! :-)

huh. Those are neat-o. I agree with you though, I like their current format of changing it to coincide with each season.

yeah--they could have used cuts from different eps, etc but that would have been kinda cliche'd. The simpler version really works for the show.
