Honestly, based on the preview that followed last week's ep, I was expecting some one-off, probably gross-out, horror ep. Lots of blood and guts and not much else.

Well, that's not what we got.

We learned that the gods and deities from other religions do exist in the Supernatural world. And man, are they ticked off about the apocalypse. I was glad to see the other religions addressed, even if they are now dead. :-(

Along with Gabriel. That makes me really sad. :-( I wanted to keep him around longer. Preferably forever. Maybe I'm just sentimental like that.

I liked Dean hitting on Kali. Shows he really will hit on any hot woman. And her just "No." LOL

So, the four rings are the four keys. I knew they had to serve some sort of purpose. That's kinda cool.

And hello, Pestilence. Eww. *shudder*

And, dammit, but earlier tonight I kind of spoiled myself for the end of season 5. As soon as I saw what I was reading, I backed out. So, I didn't get the whole thing. But enough to kinda be, "Aw crap." But please don't say anything. Cos what you have to say may not be what I read. So thanks. :-)

Which spoiler? 'Cause IMO one is pretty obviously just TPTB toying with us and making it sound worse than it'll be.

This one had to do with Bobby and someone he talks with to help the boys get certain items. In light of what happened in this episode, I don't think this is a fake one. It wasn't toooooo bad. I didn't read far enough to get any major plot spoilers. But, character spoiler and all that. It could have been worse.

Ah, that one.

There's different one floating around now where I'm pretty sure they're just playing it up to scare fangirls, and I thought you might've seen that.

No spoiling from me. I do read spoilers, although I don't like to get too deeply into them. In general I'm just pretty nervous over the rest of this season.

Oh hey. Was it just me or did that gathering of the gods seem almost a bit familiar to the SG-1 episode Summit (I think they also had the Kali character in that one, too)?

When episodes are THAT different from the preview, it really makes me wonder who is charge of those things. Is it some random person at the network? Do the producers have any say? Cos that ep was NOTHING like what the preview showed. Anyway...

I was definitely getting a very Stargate-ian vibe, too. With all the gods in human form. And the gathering. I was just waiting for Jack & Daniel to show up! LOL

I'm leaning more towards some random person at the network. Unless... maybe the producers wanted that done to throw us off? Hmm...

There really should be more SG/SPN crossovers. The snark between Jack and Dean? EPIC!

Now that would be just awesome! :D And then Daniel and Sam empathizing with one another and sharing stories. LOL
