Here's the thing. I have two wedding to attend in June and non of my dress clothes fit. I would prefer to avoid having to buy something new as money is a little tight with me still on maternity leave. So, I need to lose 10-15 pounds in the next month and a half or so. Problem is, I am the world's pickiest eater. Seriously. I borrowed my mom's Weight Watchers books for some tips and tricks. All their recommended foods? I don't eat. I don't like. So, I won't eat. I don't eat cooked veggies. Very few raw veggies. Don't like fish/seafood. What the hell am I supposed to do?

Do what you can do reduce the calories in what you DO eat. Veggies with Ranch dressing? Buy the low-calorie Ranch (it does exist) and eat it with the vegetables. Or use a little bit of lemon juice and pepper, if you like those flavors. Have you ever roasted your veggies? Roasting or grilling vegetables can make them taste much sweeter, and adds an awesome flavor to it withOUT any sauces or flavorings.

Instead of a high cal roll, look at the labels and go for the lower cal ones--even if it's a high fiber, low calorie English Muffin.

Mashed potatoes: mashed up califlower is seriously good. EVERYone in my family likes it, even my picky-picky kids who love mashed potatoes.

I've started eating salads in the afternoon with a lower-calorie dressing. Trader Joe's (if you have on nearby) has some really good ones, like the Goddess dressing (with tahini, so it tastes a little like hummous).

If you like hummous, try that as a dip for veggies, too. It's high calorie, but at least it has some redeeming nutrition in it that the Ranch doesn't have.

And like djfavorite said, portions are a huge part of it all. Eat regular sized portions that everyone else in the world eats except for Americans, who tend to be pigs at a trough.

The biggest thing is, don't deprive yourself of your favorite foods. Just have less of it, less often (esp if it's fatty stuff, or breads).
