So, we have these plates that we registered for when we got married. Didn't think we'd actually get them, cos they are that awesome. Anyway, it's a set of 4 Ralph Lauren dessert/salad plates that have clock faces on them. THESE. They are GORGEOUS. Anyway, whenever we use them and I put them away, I have to line them all up so they all face the same way and so that the 12:00 is at the back of the cabinet. Why? No one is going to see them in the cabinet. Ugh.

Anyone else do silly things like that?

I actually have a couple.

1. When I put my shoes and socks on, I always have to put on the left one first. One time I didn't and it felt so wrong that I had to take off my shoes and start over.

2. When putting clothes on a hanger, the clothes have to face me and the hanger has to curve to the right.

1) OK. That's just weird.... LOL

2) I do the same thing. Except my hangars curve to the left. So they face the left in the closet. My husband puts clothes on hangars willy nilly and it drives me CRAZY!

That would make me crazy too. Pick a system and stick with it. Where's the order? The tidy symmetry? First it's willy nilly with the hangers then next stop - Anarchy! :P

Maybe? I always eat and finish one item on my plate before going to the next. I like to have the volume on my car radio on a factor of 5. Sometime it can be at 22 or 18 w/o me knowing but if I adjust the volume I put it on a factor of 5.

That's one of the things I can't do. I have to eat some of this, some of that, etc.

Welcome to the World of the (slightly) OCD....
Most of my workmates are the same - important in a lab :p

hmmm, not sure but I think I do the shoe thing, definitely don't do the hanger thing. I do have to have things TIDY tho, the piles may be full of crap but at least they're tidy piles of crap... ;-)

Oh, yes. I like to call this organized chaos. It may look a mess, but I know where everything is. :-)

The plate thing for me, too. For sure. Otherwise they just don't stack right!

When I put a CD or DVD back in its case I can't stop myself from turning it so all lettering and/or imagery is aligned properly. Can't have my words all will-nilly. Not to mention all CDs and DVDs are organized alphabetically but divided into categories, including a section specifically for Shakespeare.

Also, I really like those plates!

I do the alphabetical thing, too. Not categorized, just alphabetical. And I do the aligning of the CDs in their cases, too.
