I really, really wish I didn't. They're skeevy about privacy and full of hackers and viruses and I DO NOT WANT, but I opened the account when the site was pretty new and only college students were allowed. And I'd delete my account, but they don't actually delete it and now I'm stuck with them having my information forever and ever.
Yeah, apparently even if they "delete" your account, they keep all of the information you've ever put on there indefinitely. It's insanely creepy. Heck, as recently as a couple of years ago, you couldn't even "delete" - you could deactivate, but if you wanted to "delete," you had to personally argue with the facebook PTB.
I know how you feel cause my mum just got herself her very own laptop and so watch out world here she comes cause now she is going to spend more time on the net.
My mom doesn't have a facebook account but Gordon does. So whenever he sees something on my FB account he calls her into his little man cave and she makes him either post a comment or "like" my status LOL. *shrug* I don't put anything on there I wouldn't want my mom to read so it's all good. Makes me laugh.
