Back to work....

Today I go back to work after my wonderful 3 1/2 months of maternity leave. Hubby is taking this week off to stay home with the baby, so that makes me feel better about all that. But next week it's up to grandma and grandpa! I'm sure it'll be fine. It's only half days that I'm gone.

It'll be OK, right?

You're going to do fine! And so is Gabe. It's difficult to leave the little one at first, but you will make it. :)

It'll be fine. He's not old enough to get separation anxiety yet. And you're only leaving him for a short time for a couple of days each week, right? I had a whole year and a bit at home, and I was terrified of going back to work, but within a couple of weeks I really started to enjoy using my brain again for something more than thinking about poop and baby food. And getting dressed in something that I knew wasn't going to end up covered in chewed up biscuit and dribble. I love going to work now. It's my "quiet time" LOL.

Aww. *hugs* It'll be ok...and it's good you're starting early, even just part time. Give you both breathing time. I know some parents who decide to stay and home and then start preschool or daycare around 3-4 end up having the separation problems which makes it really hard on the child and the parent.
