To Dye Or Not To Dye

That is the question...

It's a friend of mine from work's birthday tomorrow (the friend who replaced me on my maternity leave, actually). I made cupcakes to take in and have the canned frosting to top them with. But here is where I'm torn...

She is also getting married later this month. Should I dye the icing to match her wedding colors? They're purple and yellow, if that makes a difference. I did also get the Funfetti type of icing if that makes a difference, either.

So, what say you flist? Dye? Or not?

It's the icing that comes with sprinkles. Wasn't sure if sprinkles & colored icing would be overkill. Can you go overkill on birthdays?

Ah. Okay. The Fun part of funfetti. I don't think it's possible to overkill if what we're talking is cupcakes. Then I change my vote to "Do It!"

Funny story, I don't have enough red coloring to make the purple so I'm making hubby stop and get some on his way home. LOL
