But, for me, that's the big debate. In season 5 is Jimmy still alive? I mean, he got blown up. For me, Jimmy is dead. Can't get much deader than that. So, yeah, I dunno....

I guess it depends on how he was brought back, which at this point we don't know. I mean Dean was dead, he was brought back by an Castiel. Castiel/Jimmy was brought back by a higher even authority who could easily bring him back *exactly* as he was, with Jimmy intact. OR just brought back Castiel with a Jimmy appearance and Jimmy's soul/conscious has moved on. But I was under the impression that an angel just doesn't need an appearance/to look like someone to be on our plane, but an actual vessel, something with substance. If that makes sense. lol
