Day 01: What show should never have been canceled?
Dark Angel. I know, surprised, right? But really it shouldn't have. It had really started picking up steam and what they could have done with season 3 would have been AMAZING. I think it was maybe a little ahead of its time. It was sort of a new kind of scifi that wasn't really out there yet and I don't think people really knew what to make of it.

Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching: I think I'm going to go with Burn Notice. I don't think a ton of people on my flist watch it. No one else in my family does. Which is odd since my one brother is a HUGE Bruce Campbell fan. It's a great show, really. It's fun, action packed, funny at times. It's a good mix of funny and serious. And now we can say has an Emmy Nominated Supporting Actress in Sharon Gless and Michael's mother! :-D

Day 03 - Your favorite new show (aired this TV season): I'm gonna go with White Collar. I know the cable seasons are a little off from the norm, but it is the only new show I watched. So, yeah. It's funny and clever and action packed. And Peter and Neal are sooooooooo an old married couple. They are way worse than anything Jack & Daniel ever did. LOL :-)

Day 04 - Your favorite show ever: Stargate SG-1. That's all there is to say, really. :-)

Day 05 - A show you hate: I don't think there's a show I really HATE. There are plenty of shows I just don't like/am not fond of (BSG, SGU, most of the shows on the basic networks). But outright HATE? Not so much... Oh, wait! There is! 30 Minute Meals. LOL Though I suppose that's more of an "I hate the host" thing. Rachel Ray is the most annoying person on the face of the planet. yup.

Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show: The First Ones. We got Daniel back to doing what he loves, making friends with an alien creature who had been intent on eating him. Making Jack understand and stopping his shoot first, ask questions later policy. And it has one of my favorite Daniel lines ever: "I'm in a cave." :-D Oh, and Daniel looked oh so pretty in it, too.

Day 07 - Least favorite episode of your favorite TV show: Space Race. It was really just completely worthless and that stuff with Sam being a speed junky just came out of nowhere. It was really dumb. Though, we did get some nice Jack/Daniel moments out of it... :-)

Day 08 - A show everyone should watch: White Collar. It's charming and witty and intriguing and the friendship between Peter and Neal is just epic. It's all around amazing.

Day 09 - Best scene ever: Of any show? Geeze.... Um, I think, though, I'm going to have to go with a scene from Abyss. The one where Daniel has come back the third time (I think) and Jack is all despondent and get me the hell out of here. Here, I'll just post a bit of the transcript:

The Others would have stopped you.

O'NEILL
They'd have a hell of a fight on their hands.

DANIEL
You wouldn't do that.

O'NEILL
Ba'al would be dead…

It's just so powerful and it's just two men in a box acting their hearts out. It's so amazing.

Day 10 - A show you thought you wouldn't like but ended up loving: I can't really think of any. I don't really watch shows that I don't think I'll like. There are shows I ended up loving a lot more than I thought (Leverage, White Collar).

Day 11 - A show that disappointed you: SGU. For reals. It just sucked so hardcore to me. It's not Stargate. It's just not. And I hate that.

Day 12 - An episode you've watched more than 5 times: Um, almost every episode of SG1? A good portion of Leverage. Yeah, basically if I'm obsessed with it, I've watched it a lot. I'm not quite there is SPN, though. But I'm getting there with the morning reruns on TNT now.

Day 13 - Favorite childhood show: If we're talking like, grade school childhood, I'm gonna go with Fraggle Rock. That show was totally awesome! With the Dozers and The Great Garbage Heap. Oh, yeah.

Day 14 - Favorite male character: Daniel Jackson. Does this answer surprise anyone? I didn't think so. LOL Daniel's just awesome. The geek that stepped up when he needed to and did some amazing things. His loyalty and willingness to accept other cultures (see The First Ones). It's what makes him great. :-)

Day 15 - Favorite female character: Vala. She was just awesome. In your face and sexy and smart. But then vulnerable and sad. She was quite something.

Day 16 - Your guilty pleasure show: I'm gonna go with any of the Bravo reality shows. Top Chef, Work of Art, Shear Genius, Real Housewives (NY only). All of that. Good stuff, man. :-)

Day 17 - Favorite mini series: Umm.... I don't think I have one....

Day 18 - Favorite title sequence: I'm gonna go with Psych on this one. More for the theme song, than the actual title sequence. In an age where most TV shows were getting rid of the theme song in favor of 10 second musical "stings" and a title card, Psych kept the theme song alive and kicking. And with special episodes they change it up: the Christmas episodes have jingle bells in them, the Bollywood episode was recorded in Hindi (I think), Boys II Men recorded a version for the ep where Gus was in an a capella group. Thank you, Psych, for keeping it real.

ETA: As, lovellama pointed out, there was also a Spanish version when they did the ep involving the Spanish Soap Opera.

Day 19 - Best TV show cast: Oh, goodness. This is certainly a tough one. I mean, what is it that makes a great cast? But I think I'm going to have to go with Supernatural. I mean, the chemistry between all of them (Jared, Jensen, Misha & Jim and all the guest stars) is always just top notch.

Day 20 - Favorite kiss: I think I'm gonna have to go with the Jack/Ianto kiss in my icon. It was a very touching scene, and the closest Jack would probably ever come to telling Ianto "I love you." And, yeah. It was just good. :-)

Day 21 - Favorite ship: If we're talking canon ships, I would have to go with Daniel/Vala. If just favorite ship whatever, then Jack/Daniel. :-)

Day 22 - Favorite series finale: I'm gonna go to the Wayback Machine on this one and say Cheers. It was one of those series finales that didn't really feel like the lives of the people on the show were over, we just stopped being privy to what was happening. And I still remember the last line of the show: The bar had closed for the night, everyone had gone home, but Sam was still there cleaning up. Some guy comes down the stairs, knocks on the door and Sam replied, "Sorry. We're closed." Fade to black. It made me a little teary, making me a little teary now, thinking of it. LOL It was just one of those really perfect "endings".

Day 23 - Most annoying character: Um, Buffy. I'm sorry, but she just got soooo on my nerves. And it's hard to watch a show when you hate the main character. I guess there was a reason I didn't get into the show back in the day..

Day 24 - Best quote: Of any show? Ever? Seriously? That's too hard!!! So, you'll get a couple.
For the first one, I shall refer you back to Day 9 and the scene in Abyss between Jack & Daniel. Then there's Daniel's "I'm in a cave" from The First Ones. Jack's "I remember a man. He's bald and he wears short-sleeves. He's very important to me. I think his name is Homer." Then from Supernatural we have "I think Dad wants us to pick up where he left off. You know, saving people, hunting things. The family business." Anything Dean says to try and pick up a chick. "I lost my shoe." Eliot describing Parker as "...20 pounds of crazy in a 5 pound bag." The list is just endless. I can't pick one, I'm sorry...

Day 25 - A show you plan on watching (old or new): I currently have Rome and Spartacus in my Netflix queue. So, I guess those are next on the list.

Day 26 - OMG WTF? Season finale: I'm gonna have to go with Supernatural Season 3. I never thought they would actually kill Dean and send him to hell. I mean, they'd each been killed a few times by then, but this was like THE BIG DEATH. I'm really glad I wasn't a fan at the time and had to deal with watching it live. LOL But I did like how they didn't drag out Dean gettingout. Cos we all knew he would get out, so season 4 premiere, first thing that happens, Dean gets out. :-)
