I think the problem is that Scrapbook is being a bitch today. It's slow loading not because your 640x480px images are too large but because Scrapbook is delivering images slowly. When it delivers them at all. I will very patiently await them as Matt Cohen in large format is worth it. ♥
There is actually some issue with thumbnails and my LJ in general, though. It seems to mostly affect people that use Chrome for a browser. When I used it temporarily I couldn't see thumbnails in my LJ. They showed up fine on other pages, but not mine. It's very strange.
Huh. I'm using Chrome so I guess that's the problem. If I had to guess, I'd say it has a lot to do with the bizarre file naming system that Scrapbook uses. Hopefully it'll get more sophisticated as they develop it.
They look like the tips of nautical stars, kinda. Or maybe that's just wishful thinking... *happy sigh* Or maybe someone will ask him at the con next week! Somebody usually busts out the tattoo question for the guests....
