WTF is going on??

Well, we now know what is wrong with my laptop - it's overheating. It is consistently operating at between 88 & 92 degrees Celsius. It's supposed to be maybe 55? So, yeah. Running a little hot there. Tech has been called and should be out soon. I hope. *fingers crossed*

In the meantime, we have a desktop that I can use. It is my husband's machine so I have a separate log in for it so I don't mess up his stuff. Well, he had to reformat maybe a month ago after he got a virus and never got around to recreating my log in for the machine. So, we did that last night. This morning, I go to log in and there's only my account. No hubby's ADMIN account. Just me. Apparently clicking the "Create New User Account" somehow overwrote the existing user account instead of making a second, separate account. I don't know. I'm confused.

But anyway.... I'm glad to know we at least know what's going on and hopefully it can be fixed. Awesome.

Yeah sounds like it is running too hot. Could be the mother board having problems there. That could be the source of why youi are having problems in the first place. I would enquire if you can get a new laptop since it is still under warranty.

The last tech that was here, replaced the motherboard. LOL So, it better not be that or there are ISSUES. I don't even know anymore. It's under warranty until April and hubby is going to extend that for another 3 years, I think. I don't want to go the new laptop route yet. Just because it takes so long to get everything set up and it's soooooooo annoying. I'm hoping this will fix it and it will be fine. *fingers crossed*
