Dell guy left about half an hour ago and, so far, things are running much better. He replaced the motherboard, heat sync and fan. Basically all the parts related to heat management. And, so far, so good. Temp is back down to where it should be (55/56 degrees C). That's about a gajillion times better than what it was. So. YAY! :-) Let's hope this is the last fix it needs for awhile. :-D
