Suck it, Twilight!
The first 15 minutes of this ep or so were just totally epic LULZ. I cannot believe they actually named both those characters Kristen and Rob! I just about died laughing. My one friend was over watching, too, and she's actually seen Twilight and she was laughing even hard cos I guess that whole scene in the bar is basically the entire plot of Twilight in 5 minutes. So, anyway, yeah. LULZ.
And then it got serious... Which I just love that Show is able to do that.
Something is MAJORLY wrong with Sam. Just standing there as Dean got attacked and that SMIRK? Seriously, shivers down my spine. This is like, a whole new level of evil!Sam. Totally creepy.
Then Grandpa shows up with a cure from his grandpa. Interesting.... It sort of makes sense, I think. I mean, it sounds reasonable, at least you could "cure" someone as long as the transformation hasn't been completed and drinking blood of a human being that final step is logical. If you think of vampirism as some sort of infection, which it is on some level, then being able to cure that infection is reasonable. And it certainly seemed complicated and violent enough to work for me.
Dean and Lisa. I was FREAKING OUT! Practically yelling "Don't do it!!" at the TV because that would have been the end of it. It might be anyway, with the way Dean just shoved Ben. Unless he can explain it, which would be tough. Though, I did have to giggle a little bit with Dean just standing there watching her sleep with his earlier comment about how creepy that was. LOL
And there is some sort of Father Vampire. I'm kind of liking this storyline they have going this season. Monsters acting strange, their origins, etc. And that they're not afraid of the humans anymore. Shall make trying to kill them more interesting, I think...

Yeah, something is really wrong with Sam and it really bothers me. I hope we get closer to finding out what exactly it is next week.
I was so worried that Dean was going to turn Lisa.. I'm so glad he held out. I am kinda thinking that's the end of it, too. Not sure how I could see Dean trying to explain his way out of it... though I wonder if we are going to see Lisa again after this.
The whole "alpha" thing is pretty cool. I like how they're going back to the origins of these monsters.

I do hope we get to see Lisa again, if nothing else so we can really have proper closure on that relationship. I love Lisa, but I've always sort of assumed that there's no way she was going to make it though the season. I do like the idea of Dean having some sort of "home base" that isn't Bobby's where he can get away when he needs it. But Show loves to whump our boys, so I kinda figured that would be take away at some point. I guess we'll see....
