Tagging Question

OK, so I'm finally kind of getting started at reorganizing some of my tags and I'm starting with my icon posts. I'm going to start tagging them as "icons: fandom."

My question is this: if the post contains icons of an ACTOR (not his/her character), would you prefer it be tagged as "icons: actor" or "icons: fandom" or both? I'm just so confused. What's the norm on this?

And, yeah, I'm just way over thinking this. Cos who's to say what fandom I know an actor from is what fandom you know him/her from? So, OK, yeah. Just "icons: actor" I think.

So, yeah. You can ignore this big post of stupidity. :-)

Most people tag them by fandom and character...

I think I've decided to just stick with fandom and actor. Most of my posts are multi-fandom and trying to add in all the characters would just make my tags list MASSIVE. And most of the major characters are represented in each fandom post. So, *srugs*. At least it's getting better than what it was.

I think fandom & actor is probably the best choice, especially if you're into multiple fandoms for a particular actor.

That's what I was thinking. But I think I'm only including actor if it's icons of the ACTOR and not his/her CHARACTER. Otherwise, it's just fandom tagged. I hope that works well enough. :-)

Yeah, that was my problem. I redid the icons/graphics tags, my convention tags and fanfic is next up on the list. That one's going to have to wait until tomorrow. It's a mess. Oy...
