Glee Question re: Dalton Academy

So, I've just written my first Glee fic and have been reading quite a few, too. And I'm wondering if I've made a huge error. See, all the fics I'm reading reference dorms at Dalton. I assumed that Dalton did not have dorms. There are plenty of private schools that operate like regular schools - kids bussed/driven in for the day and then home. Have we seen anything that concludes Dalton does have dorms? I'm just horribly confused right now...

Though, this could help explain how Kurt is able to afford to go. Places like that, it's often the room and board that get you on the fees. Just straight tuition isn't always $$$$$$$. Ya know? So, Blaine and some other kids could live in whatever available dorms they have and the more local kids just attend for classes. *nods* :-)

Kurt will have to come back to McKinley when the money runs out. I just hope Blaine will go with him. If Kurt leaves and has to say good-bye to Blaine because his Dad can't afford the tuition anymore the angst will just kill me. TPTB won't do that to us, will they???
