So why does my skin insist on behaving as if I am? Ugh...

This is really getting ridiculous. I'm trying my third face wash in 6 months. I'm really hoping this one works. I'm also going to see my doc on Monday about going back on birth control. That usually helps. But seriously dude, I don't even know. I mean, I've never had GREAT skin, but in the last couple months it's just gotten out of control. Blech.

I had the same problem. I looked up acne.org and bought his stuff [it is CHEAP] and have been zit free for about 4 months now.

Get the treatment and use it only at night - it bleaches stuff. Use their cleaner. A few weeks later, get the AHA and use it during the day and the treatment at night. This introduces your skin to everything slowly and keeps it from breaking out due to stress. He explains it on his site. His stuff has literally changed my life, and I keep the man in my prayers. THAT'S how much I love his stuff.

....also, he has videos showing how much to use. I don't use nearly as much as he does because my skin won't soak it up.

Could just be an allergy. My ex-brother-in-law suffered with terrible acne through his adult years and it turns out he was allergic to certain types of food coloring. There's also the possibility that your body is adjusting to the new hormone levels after the baby was born.

My husband suggested the allergy thing. I would have thought hormones would have been an issue before now since he's almost a year old. But, that's what the OB is for. So I'm going to give that and the new facewash a chance. If that doesn't work then we'll see about a dermatologist.

Be careful with acne creams. I spoke to my doctor, and he said that over time it thins the skin and actually makes acne worse in the long run. I wouldn't know though, I've never used any. :)

And just so you know, I haven't forgotten about you! I'm still working on reviewing your story, I want to read it over once more tomorrow, then I'll send it back to you.

Just when you think you're done with zits . . .

It's as if adolescence never ends. *sympathizes with you*
