I placed TWICE in the last round of the White Collar 20 in 20 challenge. Yay!! I'm very pleased as this was my first 20in20 challenge and I was a little nervous about it. There are some really amazing iconists in the fandom. Round 7 has just started, so we'll see how I do this round... :-)

So this is the most epic of stupid questions, but you make a big pic and then shrink it right?

I usually start with cropping the pic down to icon size first and then playing around with coloring and textures and etc. Sometimes things that look good on large graphic don't always look that great on a little 100x100 canvas.
