switch842: (Glee: Kurt Bar)

So, there was a spoiler going around that during the Regionals episode, someone was going to be singing their swan song. AKA, someone gonna die. There was some speculation that perhaps it might be Karofsky as it had been pretty well confirmed that Kurt was going back to McKinley later this year. And if Karofsky's gone, then Kurt would be safe, etc etc. But no one liked that because we all want a real resolution for Karofsky. Well, it has finally been revealed which character is going to bite the big one - Pavarotti. Yes, the little canary from Dalton will be passing on.

Phew! Glad it's not a person. Cos, well, this is a show about high school students and death can be tricky for that. So, yay! If a death can ever really have a "yay" associated with it.

Some other spoilers:
  • Kurt and Blaine will be singing a duet to Candles by Hey Monday at the competition. Here's the song on youtube. It's OK, I guess. Not really my taste, but not awful.
  • Kurt will be singing a solo to Blackbird by The Beatles. Popular consensus seems to be this is his fairwell song to Dalton/Pavarotti. Chris is going to kill it.
  • Darren has been confirmed as a regular for the rest of this season and season 3. And The Warblers have wrapped filming for the season. This seems to point to the fact that Blaine will be joining Kurt at McKinley. Wonder how that's going to happen...

    And that's all for now.

I have turned into such a spoiler whore for Glee.... *sigh*

Yeah, not really a fan of it, but it seems to fit with The Warblers repertoire they've done up til now. Bills, Bills, Bills being the exception.... ;-)

What? The Warblers are going to let someone besides Blaine have a solo? They do that? [/sarcasm]

I was beginning to wonder if we'd ever hear Kurt sing again...

I don't think Kurt's solo is in any type of performance situation. It could be one of those daydream things. Or Kurt tells them he's leaving and he wants to "say" something and sings to them. *shrugs* But, yes! We finally get Kurt singing lead!! :-D

Probably because Blaine's parents can't afford the tuition anymore. :P

Well, it doesn't matter why, as long as they are together at McKinley. :)
