GIF Resizing

Do any of you lovely people have the ability to resize a gif to be used for an icon? I've tried in the various programs I have and nothing is working. I've tried just making the icon from scratch, but no matter what I do, it ends up huge and I cannot get it down to the the 40K LJ limit.

This is what I want iconed:


It can just be cropped into a square, I don't need the full thing. If any of you lovely, amazing, wonderful people can do this, I will gladly repay you with three (static) icons or one larger graphic.

Anyone? Please? *puppy dog eyes*

I`ve got another one, cut and almost a square, with a tiny black frame. The 2nd icon is under 40 k also.

sorry, I have to do it this way. I`m using the laptop and since the toaster is almost dead, I can`t upload anything to photobucket.

The ani is not 100x100 anymore, but the icon itself is 100x100

aaaand, another one (and last) I just remembered something, about using a white base for the icon. White takes, for whatever the reason, less space then any other color.

The quality which I got doesn`t get any better when I try. My Animation Shop is not as good as Photoshops Image Ready.
