I wasn't keen on the showdown with Darren making it so far to begin with. When he beat out Matt Bomer I couldn't get behind it. Now that he has beaten Nathan Fillion as well I can't buy the legitimacy of this online poll anymore. I have no qualm with Darren. He is certainly a fine specimen that ought to be replicated for the betterment of humanity. But the contest is for Alpha male. And the fine gentlemen he has been pitted against are far more deserving that title.

In this round I have absolutely no hesitation in qualifying Jensen as the Alpha. I just fear the Gleeks are apparent in numbers and will even beat out the SPN folks. (Too bad Jared vs Jensen was last round. That would have been interesting in the finals.)

Yeah. The Gleeks are certainly a persistent bunch. Add in all the StarKid fans and it's not really surprising he got this far. Though, well, yeah. I was VERY surprised he beat Nathan in the last round. While I do agree that he is very talented and has the chance for a very long career ahead of him, he's not there yet.

My last check had Jensen winning by a slim margin. I guess we'll see how it holds out.

ETA: Darren's back in the lead. I foresee this one going back and forth until the poll is closed.

Once he beat David Boreanaz a couple rounds ago, I was like, "He's gonna make it to the finals. Holy shit!" LOL Good for him, I guess. ;-)
