So, I had convinced queeneve_84 and rainbowmcgee09 to come to the YouTube DigiTour thing with me down in Urbana on May 7th on the word of StarKid that Darren was going to be with them. Cos, dude, how awesome would that be? StarKid reunited? Totally Awesome!

But now, apparently Darren is going to be doing a benefit in LA with the Warblers on May 7. Ugh, guys, I'm sorry. If you don't want to go anymore that's fine. I think we could have fun anyway cos everyone else really is amazing and it's bound to be an excellent show. So, let me know what you think.

And this is apparently my week to be disappointed in concerts. I <3 30 Seconds To Mars like no one's business as most of you are aware, I think. Their newest album, This Is War, is seriously one of the most amazing records I've ever heard. Seriously, beginning to end, just phenomenal. So, anyway, I've been like stalking their website to see when the tour starts and when they would be coming to Chicago. Guess when they were in Chicago? WHEN I WAS IN VEGAS! Ugh. Seriously? Boo. :P But, whatever. They'll come through again. Well, guess what? THEY ARE! They're going to be headlining the local radio station's summer rock fest thing. And, best of all, lawn seats are only $10! Awesome! When is this amazing show going to be? Saturday, June 4. Sounds excellent! Wait, it doesn't? Oh, that's right. I'LL BE AT THE GLEE LIVE SHOW THAT DAY! I'm just apparently destined to never see 30STM live ever. :P

I'm still in shock that I'm going to Glee Live. I keep having to remind myself "Hey, I'm going to that!" when people talk about it or I see ads on tv.

:( it's my fear that this will happen for LeakyCon, and I'll be seriously sad if I spent all that cash and Darren's not there. Haha. (there's actually some Glee con in Australia that same weekend and there's some petition going around to get him there ... I maybe not so politely told one of the creators it's not nice to steal people from one con to another.)

I still think you should go - tickets were cheap, right?

Yeah, tickets were only $10 and we have them already, which is another argument for going anyway. I mean, I love StarKid all by themselves and I think we would have a lot of fun, even sans Darren. You know, fun little road trip with the girls on a (hopefully) beautiful Saturday in May. Sounds like a nice day out.

But, yeah. The whole thing is kind of frustrating and disappointing even if completely understandable. :-(

That's a bummer, but honestly I had it filed under 'Too good to be true' from the beginning, so I'm not that crushed.

I can tell you that I am definitely still in for the first. I can't think of a good reason not to go to the show anyway. We already have the tickets, I've already got the day off of work, and I never get to do things with friends, so that's a good reasons to go anyhow!

I am getting a tooth pulled on the fourth, so if I'm still in a lot of pain I may not make it, but I doubt that will be the case. If it is though, I'll still pay for the ticket.

And don't be sad about 30 seconds to mars, they're HUGE, and I"m sure they'll be back! And remember, you're missing it because you'll BE AT GLEE LIVE. Once you get there, you won't even think of 30 seconds to mars, I promise.

I was thinking we might as well go, too, since we have the tickets. I mean, it should be a fun little girl's day out roadtrip thing anyway. :-) And I think you really will like StarKid. ;-)
