So, Glee Live...

It looks like my previous fears about The Warblers and the Glee Live show are now nothing. Since Darren is lip syncing, too.

Though, now that I've had some time to digest that, I'm OK with it. In the end, it's better than the alternative of them sounding like crap. And, I haven't seen video of it yet, but I'm kind of guessing Darren will be singing live with the New Directions folks on the couple of songs that he joins them for. And we all know Darren can sing and he sounds great. So, he'll be able to save his voice and not totally wreck it. Which is good, if rumors of him doing his own solo tour turn out to be true.

Glad to hear TD is live. The couple video clips I've seen of SLS & RYG definitely lead me to believe it's synced. There is a marked difference in how vocals sound live in arenas like that and these didn't really have that quality (stuff like trailing "hisses" on S sounds, little pops on Ps and Bs, stuff like that). It's the little things that get cleaned up on studio tracks that you just can't do with live vocals.

I think TD is live because when Darren sings "Yeah" and he's all cute, putting his arm around someone or whatever (usually with Curt Mega), he's out of tune, LOL. I winced. I still love him though.
