THIS. I'M SO OVERCOME, LOL. I WAS WATCHING AND WAS ALL 'OMG, BLAINE!' AND LOL-ING AT THE FLASHBACK AND SANTANA AND THEN KURT WAS BEING ADORABLE AND BLAINE WAS STARING AT HIM SO LOVINGLY AND THEN BOOM "I LOVE YOU". I SCREAMED AND DROPPED THE REMOTE AND SLAPPED MY HANDS OVER MY MOUTH AND THEN KURT SAID IT BACK AND I SCREAMED AGAIN, AND THEN SAMCEDES HAPPENED AND THERE WAS MORE SCREAMING AND I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN GO TO SLEEP NOW BUT I HAVE LESS THAN HOUR BEFORE I HAVE TO GET TO BED AND I CAN'T EVEN.

I agree! that kind of came out of left field and at first I was like "ZOMGWTFDIDHEJUSTSAY!?" and then I saw Kurt's face and wondered if he was not going to say anything and the writers would go down that well-worn rabbit hole but then Kurt said it back!

Although I'll be perfectly honest and wonder about how sincere Kurt was because the expression on his face spoke volumes as well. But maybe I'm just overthinking it...

Oh, Kurt meant it. I mean, Kurt has been in love with Blaine pretty much since Teenage Dream. I think he was just kind of shocked and taken aback that Blaine said it. And how he said and when he said it. Like, "Oh. He really loves me. HE LOVES ME!! Oh, wait. Yes, I love you, too." :-)

And yes, blaine is totally adorableface. But Chris Colfer impresses me as an actor and a singer in every ep.
