Smart Phones

I am now officially in the market for a smart phone. I have it narrowed down to 5. Which, I know. LOL I've read reviews and talked to the guy in the store about the various pros & cons of each, but I was wondering if any of you folks have any experience with any of the following:

LG Ally

Droid 2

LG Revolution

HTC Thunderbolt

Droid Charge (Samsung)

I have a Droid 2 Global and I love it. It's fairly use friendly. The only down side is I didn't get the extended battery, and the charge doesn't last nearly as long as I'd like. If you use it a lot you'd have to charge it twice a day, like I do sometimes. So, in short you might want to get the extended battery. lol

Out of curiosity, what carrier do you use?

Hey, do you use the battery manager setting? I just discovered it (lol) and it has helped a lot. I have my phone set to the maximum battery saver setting and it's done a good job at doing that.

I have Verizon.

The guy did mention the 4G phones do have some battery issues. I mean, right now, with my current phone I charge it like once a week. LOL So, that's definitely going to take some getting used to.

No matter what, with a smartphone, you're pretty much going to have to charge every day (if not more!). But it's not hard to get into the habit of plugging it in every night before bed. I was the same. I went from a phone that I charge every week to a smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S, so not on your list there). I thought it was going to be a pain, but it's not much of an issue at all.
