switch842Oh. My. God. You guys. There are just like no words for how AMAZING the live Glee show is. It was just so beyond anything I was expecting. I didn't take a ton of pictures because I wanted to be able to just enjoy the show and absorb everything. But there are some. And one video.

When I had bought the tickets, I guess they hadn't finalized the stage layout, because it looked like our seats were off to the side of the stage. Still on the lower level, but on the side, but should have been good. I was wrong:
We were just straight back from the stage, pretty much dead center. FANTASTIC view. And then!! My friend makes note that there's a little raised platform/stage right in front of us at the back of the arena. Would anyone be performing from there?
HELL YES.
OMG. Our seats were back in row H, but we noticed that the first three rows were empty. Probably for a possible obstructed view as the cameras were right there. Well, we decide to chance it, duck out for a drink and then head down to the front row. EVEN BETTER!! The platform was like 20 feet from us. No joke.
Y'all have probably seen all the other posts with the set list and stuff so I won't go into too much detail on everything. I'll just talk about the stuff in the pics and video.
The first performance to pop up on the little platform was Mark with Fat Bottomed Girls:
I swear, this is hardly zoomed in at all. We were that close. It was amazing. I started freaking out. LOL
Then Amber did Ain't No Way:
Dude. That girl can SING. Her voice is so amazing. So much better live than anything you hear on the show.
Then. THEN!!! OMG!!!!!!!!!!! THE WARBLERS!!!!!!!!1
DARREN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously. I can't even with that. He was looking at us, I got eye contact with one of the fake Warblers at one point. It was just... alskdjhasiughpoiusdfg. I WAS IN THE SAME ROOM WITH DARREN!
Then we had the Lea/Chris duet:
Their voices are so beautiful. It was just astounding. Really. And Chris in person is just GORGEOUS. Seriously. It's almost unbelievable. He waved at us. :-)
And finally, THE SINGLE LADIES DANCE!!
I got to stare at Chris' ass for the whole Single Ladies dance. It was a beautiful thing. ;-) Hehe.

Some random notes:
~Darren sounds so great singing with the New Directions guys. His voice just goes so well with theirs. I really want Blaine to transfer now just so we can get more of that.
~The SKIT! The Klaine skit is just AWESOME. They're so adorable together. LOVE THEM!
~Safety Dance was actually sung live. The couple video clips I had seen before looks like it was lip synced. But, Kevin did it live and it was amazing. He's phenomenal.

My voice is shot from screaming so much yesterday. But I do not regret it. I acted a fool, but it was awesome and amazing. One of the best shows ever.
